as I was waiting for my friend, Craig Barrett to complete the swim leg of his triathlon at Assateague Island. Assateague is a fun place to visit and see horses roam around on the beach. They also have a nice cultural center with some hand’s on displays for the kiddos.

A hop, skip, and a jump from the Greater Chester County area – it takes about 3 hours travel time with some traffic.
